We are pleased to announce release 1.2 of the Comparative Toxicogenomics
Database (CTD) prototype. CTD is publicly available at:
http://ctd.mdibl.org/
Major enhancements in CTD 1.2 include:
--Previously, CTD introduced a significant amount of data that is gene-
rather than sequence-based. In this release, we provide a new gene
query that provides direct access to this gene-based information,
including related sequences, microarray experiments, references,
chemicals and Gene Ontology (GO) annotations.
--We provide easier access to related microarray experiments in the
Environment, Drugs and Gene Expression (EDGE) database. Clickable icons
throughout the site indicate which genes, sequences and chemicals have
related microarray data, and the new gene query allows you to search for
specific genes (and sequences) that have microarray experiments in EDGE.
--Sequence pages have been streamlined to present more relevant
information (especially gene information) more concisely and clearly.
Please explore CTD and send us your comments and suggestions. Thank you
for your interest.
