We are pleased to announce the public release of the Comparative
Toxicogenomics Database prototype (CTD; http://ctd.mdibl.org).

The goal of CTD is promote understanding about the effects of environmental
chemicals on human health. To achieve this goal we are curating
interactions between chemicals and genes in vertebrates and invertebrates
and facilitating cross-species comparative studies of these genes and
proteins. We encourage you to use CTD and let us know what you think
(207.288.9880 ext283 or by feedback link on the website). All comments,
particularly constructive ones, are welcome!

Please note, CTD is still a prototype, so curation, data integration, and
website development are in progress.
This project is funded by the National Institute of Environmental Health
Sciences (NIEHS; ES011267).

We look forward to your feedback.
The CTD team
